SCHOOL YEAR 2020/2021 KC TUTORING OPTIONS Home school oversee. I will be basing this off of the master books curriculum if I do not have the master books year for your student already. It will need to be purchased by you in a pdf format so that I can have full access for planning and coordinating. With this you set up the number of tutoring sessions you wish during the week I recommend 2 at the normal $20 each rate. The difference between this and tutoring is that each Sunday evening you will receive an email from me. This email will set out the goals, lessons, and concepts for the week, it will include links to supplemental videos, games, etc. I will also keep track of the goals being met and concepts being mastered in a report card like form. Cost for the service is $60 per month in addition to the tutoring sessions this covers my time planning and coordinating. Cost: $20 per tutoring session (zoom or in office) minimum 1 session required. $60 per month planning, organizing and record keeping fee. 1 time $50 fee for materials for the year. Public School helpful supervision. This will be for those doing virtual schooling through the public school system. It will require me to have a password to get into a student account and see the concepts, assignments, etc. They will need to bring their work to tutoring sessions 1 a week minimum. I will log in each Sunday and look at the concepts being taught, the due dates and coordinate those with the students tutoring as well as any additional lessons so that the concept is mastered. I can work on public school stuff in conventional tutoring but I will not be logging in and making sure assignments are done and that concepts are mastered nor helping student plan their time. Cost $30 a month for this in addition to the $20 per tutoring session. Conventional tutoring: I will continue doing my basic tutoring based on a child’s need. These are 45 minute sessions that are one and one and deal with reading, math or needed skills. Cost $20 per tutoring session. Dyslexia Tutoring: This area continues to be my passion to help build those pathways and learn despite dyslexia and its difficulties. I use an Orton Gillingham based program that has many hands on activities as well as games. Cost $20 per tutoring session. Dyslexia Screening: Screening for Dyslexia as well as other reading, learning issues such as processing. Done thru a variety of testing and questions. I will also evaluate spelling, and reading level currently at. Cost $50 if no school report is required $100 if school report is required.

Fun with my 6th-8th grade homeschool group!

His face he is so proud of himself and I am so proud of him. This kid was labeled and his self esteem was shot but he is making a comeback and I am so proud to be a small part of it. I am so blessed by my kids and families!

Fall tutoring organizing today!

New opening for summer tutoring Mondays at 11:15

Big news! Starting June 8 I will be seeing kids in my new office space! I am so excited to share pics as it all comes together I am more than a little excited! It is 2103 S H street I’ll be in Powdrill Occupational Therapy the space is perfect!

Currently working on packets and will be doing porch drop offs on Thursday. If you want a packet drop off on Thursday please let me know ASAP. If I have chatted with you and for those that have already paid I have you and will drop off Thursday.
