There are an estimated 43.5 million Americans diagnosed with dyslexia. Among those, unsurprisingly are celebrities, scientists, and artists. What may surprise you are those who have dyslexia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Below are just a few known to have dyslexia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cher, one of the world\u2019s most beloved and acclaimed entertainers, has\u00a0struggled with both<strong> dyslexia<\/strong> and <strong>dyscalculia.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Anderson Cooper, the six-time Emmy Award-winning journalist is the face of news to millions across the world, but it\u2019s an accomplishment he never thought he\u2019d achieve as a boy struggling to read.<\/li>\n<li>Robing Williams, known as one of modern history\u2019s most iconic comedians, Robin Williams has made his early struggles with \u201csevere\u201d <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> known throughout his career.<\/li>\n<li>Keira Knightley, as a girl, Knightley\u00a0struggled with reading due to her <strong>dyslexia<\/strong>, but it was a screenplay written by Emma Thompson of Austen\u2019s \u201cSense and Sensibility\u201d that helped the actress push through the challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Albert Einstein, perhaps one of the most\u00a0famous figures known to have <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> is Albert Einstein, a theoretical physicist who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 and has become synonymous with intelligence and wit.<\/li>\n<li>Pablo Picasso is one of the most prolific and creative artists of the 20th century. His school applied the term &#8216;reading blind&#8217;, to define his difficulties in reading, but his <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> allowed him to show the world his backward or out-of-order autistic vision through his art.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Richard Branson, the billionaire struggled with <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> as a child, leading him to adapt and gain thinking skills that proved to provide major advantages.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Henry Winkler, known as the iconic character &#8216;The Fonz from Happy Days, struggled with <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> and did not read his first book until he was 31 years old.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Octavia Spencer, the oscar-winning actress may have struggled with reading due to dyslexia, but could solve puzzles in 30 seconds. She conveys her deductive reasoning was very important, and <strong>dyslexia<\/strong> does not limit your path.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have a child part of this special member group?
